Thiepval Ridge is a console exclusive map I had the pleasure of working on. I oversaw the map's development from the early trench prototyping to adding the final ambient fighters, machine gun nests, and artillery strikes.
I created nearly all of the terrain textures, decals, ground clutter, and foliage seen in the screenshots including several of the props including the sandbags, rock sets, and charred trees. I was responsible for the lighting, terrain sculpting/painting, as well as creating the large trees that made up our densest forests so far. Finally, I setup an alternate lighting model used for one of our PVE Halloween events.
Credit for some of the smaller trees, the burning earth decal, and the man-made structures such as the cottages, bunkers, and barbed wire - goes to fellow artists on the team, our Kiev studio, and outsource!
