I jumped into Episode 1 during the back half of development as World Art Lead for the Vanguard Omega team. Featured here is the initial discovery and launch point for the secret activity, Enigma Protocol. I was responsible for dressing up the initial crevice in the existing map and then creating from start to finish the subterranean portion players briefly wander through to launch the activity initially. I also had a quick hand in dressing up some sections inside the vex-net; most notably, the room where the vex had catalogued all of the random golden age "artifacts" they had rounded up at Maya's command. Thanks as always to the countless other folks/departments that helped make the experience a reality.
