I had the pleasure of working on the surprise Exotic mission that shipped with Destiny 2's final update, Monument of Triumph. This mission was a blast to work on and help design. I worked very closely with the activity designer Matt Geer to craft the environment to support both the fantasy and proposed gameplay elements. I owned the large underground city portion featured here myself from start to ship. I was responsible for designing all of the possible traversal routes and experiences as well as the puzzle route to unlock the secret worm in the elevated section. As always credit to the various palette artists over the years who gave us a great base of assets to work with, vfx and sound who made it feel alive, and Mike Poe for the killer lighting in a complex space.
