Mannheim is a console exclusive map that I had the pleasure of working on. The map began as a wish-list of gameplay elements set in a German city. I had the opportunity to play a large role in designing the map and was responsible for creating the initial blockout which included planning out all of the city blocks, roads, highways, initial sight lines, and elevation changes. I also created kit blockouts for all of the manmade assets in the map, many of which were art completed by our colleagues in Kiev. I sourced base assets from textures.com and megascans when able to expedite our timeline and helped direct fellow artists responsible for the final polish and set dressing of the city. I implemented design feedback throughout development and was able to work with several departments to establish new pipelines and engine tools for both this map as well as future ones. This map saw a variety of graphics features added during development by our awesome graphics engineers which I was able to leverage to make the highways, bridges, rails, and roads possible in our tools. Furthermore I was responsible for terrain sculpting, texture painting, and initial lighting.
